Still Walking
Directed by Koreeda Hirokazu, 2008 (114 min, 35mm)

Grown children visit their elderly parents in the countryside to commemorate the tragic passing of an elder son. Mixing humor and subtle drama, this fictional work exemplifies Koreeda’s delicate depiction of the tenuousness of familial bonds in the face of death.

The screening will conclude with a Q & A with the filmmaker.
