  • Common diesel-fueled three-wheel vehicle. This kind of vehicle emitted very high level of air pollution. The readings of coarse particles on my equipment go up to 3 times of the normal levels once this kind of vehicle passed by.

Lan Jin (F&ES) received a CEAS Summer Travel & Research Grant to support 2 months of research in China.  The title of her project was, “Proximity to Heavy Traffic and Congenital Heart Defects in Lanzhou.”  Above are some photos from her trip.
