Before college, Chuyue Kuang lived and studied in Jiangxi Province, China. She then spent her 4-year college life as a History major at Renmin University in Beijing with a minor in Diplomacy. As an undergraduate student, she became interested in the interactions between nature and human society and performed research in western China for her thesis on environmental and intellectual history of the Kunlun Mountains.
Chuyue is also very curious of human thought and is always willing to study how human thoughts take shape and impact human behavior, both individually and socially. She hopes that what she learns can help people, including herself, to achieve a spiritually better life. It should be about finding a harmony of being positive, confident, hopeful, and brave enough to explore personal interests with care and full respect for both nature and humanity.
