Towards 21st century skills: From Activities to Projects

How do Chinese language teachers embrace the “world-readiness” standards? This workshop will demonstrate that engaging students with projects will enable them to develop 21st century skills as well as linguistic and cultural competence.


About the Presenter:

Dr. Dongdong Chen is Director of Chinese Program, and Director of Graduate Program in Asian Studies. She served as Chair for the Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures, Seton Hall University from 2016 to 2019, President of Chinese Language Teachers Association of Greater New York from 2017 to 2020.
