Key to Success of AP Courses: Integration between Thematic Unit Design and Task-based Instruction

Through a step-by-step blueprint template, this presentation intends to engage audience in lectures, teaching demonstrations, and discussions about how to successfully integrate ones thematic units with task-based instruction in AP course design. In order to achieve students communicative task abilities, three key concepts will be highlighted for their pedagogical application, which are task essentials, task frameworks, and authentic tasks.
