A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.

FILM SCREENING

Registration is open to only the Yale community. Each person is eligible for one ticket.

Registering for a ticket will allow you to screen Minari within a 4-hour time frame between 2PM–6PM EDT on Saturday, March 27 via A24 Films. Film running time is 115 minutes.

Film tickets are limited, and registration will close after the first 50 people who register. Registration for the film screening will officially end March 24, 12PM noon.

POST-SCREENING DISCUSSION

The Yale Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) will host a post-screening discussion 8PM-9PM EDT on Saturday, March 27 via Zoom. The discussion is open to the public.
