Office of Career Strategy
The Yale Office of Career Strategy (OCS) is here to support students at every stage of the career process, from your early days as a freshman to your life after graduation. By meeting with their career advisers, attending their events, and staying connected with OCS, you will have the tools to define your career plan and take control of it. Some students may know the exact career path they wish to pursue, while many others will be undecided. Whether you are just starting the think about career options or you have already started down a path, students are invited visit thier Explore Careers section to learn more about the many career paths available. A critical part of the process of exploring careers is to gain experience through Internships and other experimental learning opportunities. Students are encouraged to visit their tips and resources to create a successful strategy as you Search for a Job. Career advisers are available to assist you with your career-related needs. Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment to Talk to a Career Adviser which may be held either in person at their office or by telephone. OCS Advisers are also available to talk with students about a variety of Graduate School programs, including Law School and advanced degrees in Health Professions. To help students prepare for their next step beyond Yale, OCS is proud to offer the Life After Yale workshop series and publication and has compiled a non-exhaustive list of potential Gap Year & Short-Term Post-Graduate Opportunities that students can pursue prior to graduate school or as a stepping stone towards a new career path. CEAS does not provide specific departmental guidelines for senior essays. You should follow the senior essay guidelines of your advisor. The DUS is also always available for consultation. Students can find assistance and specialized tutorial sessions for their senior essay through their residential colleges and at the Yale College Writing Center.

Yale Alumni Association-Yale College Classes
Yale College Classes embody the spirit of loyalty and friendship that is the hallmark of undergraduate years.
