This talk starts with the basics of getting started with Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL), followed by discussions of key design principles and pedagogical considerations of high-quality PBLL in proficiency-oriented curriculum, linking PBLL with the ACTFL proficiency guidelines and intercultural competence devleopment. Participants will then be guided to examine sample projects, explore and discusss project ideas, use a specific design tool to get started with their own project design.
