Jason Q. Ng is currently a Google Policy Fellow at The Citizen Lab, University of Toronto, and serves as a research consultant at China Digital Times and others. He recently graduated with an IDMA in East Asian Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, and previously worked as a book editor at Metropolitan Books and The New Press in New York after studying English at Brown University. His work has been featured in Le Monde, The Atlantic, Foreign Affairs, Fast Company, and Shanghaiist. Blocked on Weibo is his first book and is a compilation of his findings which were shared on his website, blockedonweibo.com.
