The Council on East Asian Studies is happy to announce the winner of the 2023 Williams Prize Competition:
William McCormack (Timothy Dwight College) for his essay submitted to the East Asian Studies Program, “A Race Against Death: Renwu Magazine’s Exposé on the Working Conditions of Chinese Food-Delivery Drivers.”
Honorable Mention
Jason Lee (Timothy Dwight College) for his essay submitted to the History Department “State Policing: The United States Army Military Government in Korea and the Management of Decolonization.”
