K-16 Online Chinese Teachers Workshop: AP Chinese as a Bridge between K-12 and College Chinese

This presentation will introduce the framework components of AP Chinese course and exam, whose goals are to enable willing and academically prepared high school students to earn college credit and to be high placed into college Chinese courses. The framework components of AP Chinese include its overarching goals, aligned language skills, recommended themes, specific modes within the three modes of communication skills, and task models that are tested on the exams.
